This was our first time staying here. I was told we were in one of the newly remodeled rooms. Kitchen cabinet doors were not secured and a shelf in the shower seemed to have been ripped off, but other than that the rooms are a great size, with a full kitchen with plates, silverware and cooking utensils. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom there is a rather large room attached to the kitchen. Plenty of space. A lot of space. We also like the location being right near the 7 mile bridge for fishing with a. Lot of bait stores and places to eat in close proximity. We all said we'd stay here again.

My Husband and I did a morning snorkel trip At Capt.PiP’s. Reservations were easy to make. Capt. Candace, and first mate Cory are Excellent at what they do. Capt. Candace did a safety briefing before departure. They both worked well together as a team providing excellent service And undivided attention to a full crew of snorkelers. I highly recommend using this to Company. So no further and book your snorkeling trip with Captain Pip’s.

Went out on the snorkel/sunset cruise tonight with Capt. Candace and First mate Hope. We had a great time. Big group and still had fun. We got to see a sea turtle, dolphins, thousands of reef fish and a sting ray. Not as good as a sunset as we had with this same company last year because of clouds but still beautiful. Highly recommend….we will return

Fantastic Stay with Exceptional Customer Service! We recently spent 3 wonderful nights at Captain Pip’s Marina and Hideaway, and we cannot recommend it enough. Aside from one unexpected hiccup, we absolutely loved our time here and are already planning our next trip back! The property itself provided a wonderfully calm and peaceful environment. There were no rowdy or loud neighbors, making it a relaxing oasis for our family. It’s a very welcoming, community-oriented place—our family even made friends with another family staying next to us! Having a fully equipped kitchen in our rental was an absolute game-changer. It was essential for saving money on food during our trip, and it gave us the space and convenience we desperately needed for washing baby bottles. What really set Captain Pip’s apart, though, was how they handled an issue on our final night. Our AC unit started leaking, but the responsiveness of the team was unmatched. The after-hours staff stepped in immediately, quickly resolved the issue, and relocated us to a brand-new apartment so we could sleep comfortably. The next morning, the manager sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and proactively refunded us for that night's stay. While moving rooms late at night wasn't ideal, the way the staff handled it showed true professionalism and care for their guests. Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, but Captain Pip's delivers. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Whitney and Tanner were the BEST!! Talk about a cool duo. We normally rent a boat for the week and do all of our water excursions ourselves. This time we only had a few days in the keys and of course couldn’t miss sombrero reef. We did the one o clock snorkeling trip. Had the absolute best time and the crew were amazing. Talk about down to earth, friendly, educated . The experience was exceptional! We had such a fun time . I might add the white claw on the way back was a great bonus for this mom lol

My husband and I decided not to trailer our boat 10 hours and rent one instead. We booked a boat for 3 days on line last week. When we got there in am Mrs. Linda took care of everything for us paperwork wise, she was fantastic to deal with. Carlos at the dock was also wonderful! He explained everything about the boat and was happy to do so. We kept the boat at the marina and the dock was very nice and easy to use. I don’t see us trailing our boat this far ever again, it was so much easier to rent one at this marina and we had no stress, and the boat was actually in good shape and had a good motor. We had a great time! Our only complaint is the checking out clerk was not very friendly ( dark hair lady, younger) and at the same time we were checking out she decided to yell at a dock help in front of us about “ he needed to pick weeds” and his response was “ there are boats that need to be checked out and in right now” we didn’t think her customer skills and priorities were proper. Other than that we were very happy with the rental, the marina shop, and the accessibility to our fishing spots. Keep up the good work Mrs. Linda and Carlos and see you next year

What a great experience. The room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were on vacation and celebrating a special occasion - the staff made our moment feel extra special as they celebrated with us. Can not recommend Captain Pip's enough; we would absolutely go back. The sunset cruise was phenomenal. We took advantage of the included kayaks and bicycles which really added to the experience; it really made exploring the area more of an adventure. Kaitlyn in the main building was nothing but friendly and helpful. 5 out of 5.

Captain Pip's can't be beat for room comfort and convenience of location. The Swordfish room was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay and staff was friendly and helpful. There are snorkel tours, boat rentals, a Starbucks (way overpriced but very convenient), and a restaurant right on sight. There are also several other restaurants and a convenience store in walking distance.

If you are looking for a Hilton or Marriott this place is not for you. If you're looking for a taste of Old Time Florida, which we were, this place IS for you! Second time staying here. Last week with the girls this week with husband. ENJOY the MARLIN (staying in a different cottage tonight) with view of water, pool to the left. Small elevated area to walk along the water, Back right up to your cottage door to unload suitcases and such. Added bonus for us! Marlin has a King bed in one nice size bedroom and Murphy bed in living room both have very nice mattresses. Sheets are clean and spot free. Clean blankets. We did ask for some flat sheets to cover the furniture, which is a little worn and not the cleanest. Pips accommodated this request with no problems. Sleeps 4-6 with lots of room. If weather is cool, like it is right now, they will provide small heaters for the rooms. Sufficiently took the chill out of the air. Sofa is also a pull out bed which we did not use. Large tiled shower in nice size bathroom. Plenty of closet space. Full size refrigerator and stove. Brand new drip coffee machine, coffee, sugar and dry creamer for a few days and large sink area. Does have some pots which we did not use. Service for four, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. I'm sure if you needed more, they would accommodate you. Porkey's Restaurant steps away that also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just do not order the lobster bisque or crab cake! They're specialty is supposed to be barbecued pork. 7 mile Grill, next door (right next to miniature golf) and walkable has delicious home made food. Starbucks on property. Small convenience store with T-shirts, booze, etc., in Office. Love staying here, perfect location at base of 7 mile bridge , quiet this time of year, late January. Show kindness and respect, and it will be returned to you! Love the staff with that comfy old time feel! Looking forward to a return stay next year.

The rooms are nicely furnished and the linens/beds are comfortable. They offer bikes and kayaks at no charge if you stay overnight. The management seems willing to do whatever is needed to make your stay enjoyable. The only downside is that you can hear the other rooms even when they speak quietly. We would stay again.
